The interface highlights the word that’s being read out loud. Screen Reader works with Windows text-to-speech voices that are installed and enabled. Said interface is incredibly easy to use. The Screen Reader interface provides support for multiple colors. Little time will go into installing Screen Reader on a Windows PC. Screen Reader lends a helping hand by reading text to you. Sometimes you can’t or you don’t want to read text yourself. The easiest way to switch from one voice to another is by using hotkeys. You can increase and decrease the reading speed you can also select a custom reading speed. The Speak button is to the far left it’s the one that looks like a speaker. Please don’t mix the Play button with the Speak button. You can also drag and drop text files onto Screen Reader’s interface.Ģ – go to any application you want and select some text then click the Speak button from Screen Reader’s interface. As mentioned above, there are two ways of adding text to this list:ġ – Use the Open (Ctrl+O) function to load text into the application. The main panel on Screen Reader’s interface lists the text that will be read out loud. Just download an installer, run it, and then go through the simple instructions it presents onscreen.
